MSCONFIG is a tool that is built into Windows and is Designed to help you troubleshoot problems with your computer, MSCONFIG can also be used to ensure that your computer boots faster and crashes less. You can access this utility by clicking on the START button and choosing RUN. In the RUN box type "MSCONFIG" and hit "ENTER", next go to the "STARTUP" tab and deselect unwanted programs.
